Chief Operating Officer
Our client is a Headquartered in USA, the world’s leading networking and business organization with over 220,000 members worldwide. They are a tremendous organization that is fortunate to be in Brazil for approximately 10 years, and is now a part of the Brazilian business leaders community. In Brazil, our customer has grown steadily, 100% per year, it is recession-proof, and provided immense value to its members, who by joining the organization essentially add a roomful of sales people to their team.
DESCRIÇÃO DO CARGO
We are seeking a senior executive to helps our client to better run its businesses, get better control, have better life balance within its employees, and gain more traction ― with the entire organization advancing together as a cohesive team. S/he will be responsible for the overall management of operations, including the Finance Department, Human Resources, Support Services, Information Systems and Quality Departments. S/he will oversee strategic planning and related implementation efforts as well as lead the development, implementation and oversight of new service lines. S/he will enables Individual and Team Effectiveness. The initial responsibility will be to set up an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), in order to helps our client to set up 3 things: Set up Vision (so to help the leadership teams get 100% on the same page with the vision for the organization, where you are going, and how you will get there); Set up Traction in our client business by creating the focus, discipline, and habits necessary to execute on every aspect of your vision and finally, to set up Healthy, since you can’t gain traction and execute on your vision without building healthy, cohesive and functional teams throughout the organization. Further responsibilities include superior relationship building and communication. Implements with excellence: prioritizes and executes work plans to achieve results and implement business strategies, plans and procedures in the organization. Set comprehensive goals and objectives for performance and growth. Establish operating rules and policies that promote company culture and vision and monitor compliance. Oversee the progress of daily operations of the company and the work of executives in different departments (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.). Monitor the application of business strategies, lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication. Evaluate performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Graduation in Business Administration, or Engineering. Post-Graduation or MBA in a well known Brazilian University is very desirable (FGV preferable).
S/he should have faithfully executed the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives in its past experience.
Ability to lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
Experience on integration on all major operating functions of the business. Have ensured that everyone is rowing together in the same direction. Models the way, always working toward the greater good of the business.
Resolves issues effectively — seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner. Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functional, and cohesive.
Abiliity to ensures that everyone is truly following, and adhering to, the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency. Demonstrates effective project management skills.
Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.
Effectively collaborates with the Visionary and stays on the same page. Maintains a high level of mutual respect with the Visionary. Realizes the unique contributions and ideas that the Visionary has, and possesses an ability to filter and translate those ideas into functional plans for the company.
Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization. Inherently ensures that everyone is in the know. Verifies that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the organization.
Brazilian Native, English mandatory, Spanish a plus
